We just got home from a fun weekend in Kansas City. Ben got to help his brother fix up his new house on Saturday. Lots of family came to town to help with the effort, so we got to see Ethan's aunt, uncles, cousin, and grandparents. We also got to visit with my cousin and his family on Sunday and had a great time with them. I hadn't seen them for almost a year!
Then today, we went to the zoo. Ethan really seemed to enjoy it and pointed at all the animals. He pooped out halfway through the day, so we didn't make it all the way through, but it was super fun to see him get excited about some of the animals, especially when he could get close to them (like the sheep and parrots.)

HOW FUN!!! that is crazy that you are holding those birds! Looks like you guys had a great time, minus the poopout, :)
The best part of the weekend was the "Grandkids Break"! There's not a better excuse to stop work than to hug, hold, or hang onto one of my boys!
