Visiting Family

These past few days, the boys and I went to Kansas to visit with my family. My grandpa was recently diagnosed with cancer and it had just been too long since I had seen everyone. It was a lot of time in the car for everyone, but I'm so glad we made it back.

My other grandma was also able to come spend an evening with us.

Debbie

Ben's mom came to visit us the past few days. The boys loved playing with Grammy or "Debbie," as Ethan calls her. When we were trying to teach Ethan to say Grammy, it came out "Debbie" and it has kind of stuck. The boys miss you already, Debbie. Thanks for coming to see us!

Yum

As most of you know, Ethan loves his treats. Today, we made cookies together and he was lovin' the results! Wyatt has started to eat more finger snacks and he seems to really like being able to feed himself. No cookies for him yet, but it won't be long and he'll be digging in, too!
Sweet boys!

What We've Been Doing...

We're still playing inside most of the time. Wyatt isn't quite crawling yet, but he is able to stay up on his hands and knees for a short time now. He is also able to hold onto something and stand up for a bit. Both boys are getting some new teeth. Ethan's 20th tooth just poked through and Wyatt is getting teeth #3 and 4 (his top center teeth). This past week we went to some audiology appointments for Wyatt. He had not passed a Denver screening test and had difficulty at the audiologist's office here in Kirksville, so we had to take him to Ottumwa. Thankfully, we got good news and he had positive test results there and we think that everything is good. We are still going to take him to see the ENT later this month, just to make sure, but we are much relieved after his last appointment.

We have been trying to play outside and take walks when the weather allows.

And you can't miss Chick Days at the farm stores. We've gone several times in the past couple weeks.

Uncle Tyler came to visit this weekend, too! The boys had a great time playing with him. Thanks for visiting us, Ty. We all loved having you!

My Boys

Just sharing some pictures of my two favorite boys.
Ethan has gotten quite the "cheese" face when the camera comes out. He takes after his daddy!

Little Wyatt and Ethan with the same cheesey grin

Now that Wyatt is more stable sitting, the boys get to take a bath together. Wyatt loves bathtime so much. He was so busy playing that he wouldn't even look up for the camera.
