Time to Blog

I apologize...I have been really awful about blogging lately. It has become somewhat of a chore and just not as fun as it used to be. Anyway, I will try to be a little better about it....maybe :-)
Wyatt is doing really great. He has had a big week. He is now 2 months old. His well check isn't until next week, so I'll have to tell you how big he is later. He has started to sleep through the night most of the time, which makes mommy very happy! I am just terrible at that middle of the night stuff. He has also just started to smile in the past day or two. I tried to catch it with the camera today and got kind of a bad angle, but it's a smile nonetheless.

Ethan is also doing well. He is getting taller and climbing onto and getting into everything he can. He caught a cold this past week and has been having a runny nose, coughing, etc. He's mostly over it now and seems to be feeling his normal self. He actually passed it on to his brother too. Thank goodness it was a really mild one!

Ethan loves cuddling/holding Wyatt. It's really cute. We have to remind him constantly to be soft with brother. These two are going to have so much fun together once Wyatt can play!

Weekend pictures

My parents came up to visit the boys this weekend and we all had a great time. Ethan sure loves playing with his Grandpa! I can't believe it, but Wyatt will be 8 weeks on Tuesday. That does not seem possible. He's growing so fast.

Nothing much...

Not much has been going on with us. It's been super hot here, but we have tired to get out and go the the park and various playdates. Wyatt is growing like a weed and his hair is falling out like an old man, just the same way Ethan's did. Ethan is doing great and learning new things all the time. He's starting to pick up some more words, still slow going, but he is getting better all the time. Anyway, I don't have much to say, but here are a couple more pictures of my boys.

Cousins

Uncle Danny, Aunt Vicki, and Cousin Levi came to visit us this weekend! We had such a wonderful time with them and Ethan loved playing with his cousin. These boys are going to be great buddies as they are growing up. We tried to get a picture of all the kids together. It was not going well. Getting an active toddler, a busy infant, and a newborn all in the same picture was not an easy task.


We got a couple that were at least acceptable...

Uncle Ty and Heather

Wyatt got to meet his Uncle Tyler and Heather this weekend. Ethan had lots of fun playing with them, and of course Wyatt got tons of extra attention. Thanks for coming to visit guys. We loved having you!

And, funny story....
Ethan has been bringing us diapers when he feels like he wants a clean one. Well, last night I got up around 12:30 to feed Wyatt and I came out to the living room and found this.

I guess after we all went to bed, Ethan got up and came out to the front room with a diaper and fell asleep on the changing pad that I put out for Wyatt in the middle of the night. I did a double take when I saw him and almost started laughing out loud. I had to get Ben out of bed so he could see him. He looked so funny with the little diaper over his face!
