Happy Thanksgiving

We had a really nice, but super fast trip home for Thanksgiving. Ben was on call Wednesday night, so we couldn't head home until Thursday morning. We couldn't find any eating place open for lunch, so we had our Thanksgiving dinner in the customer service area of Wal-Mart! The employees were so nice and even gave Ethan a little candy cane. We had a proper Thanksgiving meal at Grandma Schrant's when we got home for supper! Our time was so short, but the boys had such a fun time with their grandparents and the rest of the family that we got to see. Both Ethan and Wyatt did so well traveling this time. We couldn't have asked for a better car ride. It was so great to see everyone. Sorry we couldn't stay longer!

Deck the Halls

Brothers....I think they are really looking more and more alike.


Thing #1
Ethan is talking more all the time. He's a little parrot, trying to imitate us in everything we do or say.


Thing #2
We decided it was time to take Wyatt's swaddle blanket away this weekend. The first day didn't go that well, but he did fine overnight and has done great today.


Ben and I decorated for Chrismas last night after the boys went to bed. Ethan was so cute when he saw it this morning. He kept pointing and saying "light, light!"

Wedding

Ben was best man in his friend Matt's wedding this past weekend. He looked great in his tux!

My parents were able to meet us in KC to take care of our boys, so that we could enjoy the wedding and reception. Thank you so much Mom and Dad!

All of Ben's family was in town for Matt's wedding, so we got to get together today to celebrate Levi's birthday! Happy First Birthday to my favorite (and only) nephew!

Brothers Gotta Hug

We let Ethan play with markers last night. He got more on himself than he did on the paper, but he loved it!

4 months

Wyatt turned four months last Friday. I am a little slow to post, but I was waiting until his well check. He is 15 lbs (60th percentile) and 24.5 in long (about the 20th percentile). He's such a happy boy. He is getting stonger and stronger all the time. He is just starting to hold onto toys for a bit and yesterday he rolled over about 3 times. Of course, he wouldn't do it for me when I had out the video camera and hasn't done it since. It was probably just an accident, but it won't be too long until he's doing it regularly.
