Yesterday was a big day for Ben. It was his first day of Anesthesia!! He's pretty happy to be done with the rotations. Now he is finally doing what he wants to do. It almost feels like he is starting his career...it's about time! He said his first day went fine. He was also on call for the first time last night. He got home from work around 5:00 and then about 15 minutes later his pager went off. So, back to the hospital he went. He was there for about 2 hours and was able to come back and spend a little time with Ethan before he went to bed. Luckily, he didn't get called in the middle of the night. That's pretty good, I'd say!

Glad to hear things went well for your first day.
It really is a great feeling to just have to do what they want to do now. Tommy is the same way. His next two months are Ortho and he is really happy about it too. Congrats for being almost done with Intern year!
