Well, it's already Wednesday. I can't believe that my race is only a couple of days from now. We are leaving here around noon on Friday, so that we can get to KC and check in to get our race packets. I think that we may drive around the course a little to get an idea of what it is like. I was reading about it online and I think that I am going to be pretty lucky. It sounds like there are only two major hills on the route and the last four miles are flat or downhill. Yay! Thank you to the course designer!! I am starting to get a teensy bit nervous, but I am pretty excited, too. Pray for me!
On another note, I went to a stampin' up party at Jodie's this week and made my first stamp purchase! So, I guess I have a new hobby, now. I am not so much of a creative person, but I think it will be fun to make cards and see what I can do. So, if you get a home-made card from me...don't laugh, I'm really just starting! I haven't gotten my supplies yet, so I'll have to keep you updated on this little venture.
