Oops!

I was writing on the calendar the other day while I was holding Ethan. I set him down and saw this...

All I could think was "How in the world did that happen?" I guess I should have added a mark to the other side and finished out his little mustache.

New Scoots

I've been wanting to get Ethan a pair of shoes and I finally found what I wanted yesterday. He had a couple of newborn shoes, but he really hasn't worn shoes hardly at all. He wasn't sure what to think of them, but I think they are pretty cute. All he wanted to do was look at them and chew on them.

Here's a fun picture of Ethan playing with his toy cell phone. When I put it up to his ear he listens to it play music like he is actually on the phone....so cute.

Ethan would also like to say Happy Grandparents Day! He is a lucky boy to have such wonderful grandparents! We love you all!

8 Months

Ethan turned 8 months old on Monday. He just gets more and more fun. He babbles a lot, is moving around like crazy, and I just noticed today that he is finally getting his first tooth! Here's a video of him scooting across the floor for a book.

Nothing much is going on here this week. We are excited to head to Ben's hometown to see Grammy and Grandpa and everyone. Ben's great aunt and uncle are having a 50th anniversary party this weekend and I hear there might even be a polka band.
