I turned 29 today. That sounds awful close to 30. I don't feel almost 30.

I did have a good day, though. Ben made ice cream and cake for me and I got lots of nice cards, messages, calls, texts, etc. Thanks to everyone!

I mean seriously...who wouldn't want to spend their birthday with these two cuties?!

Stuck!

Ever since Wyatt was born, Ethan has been so interested in the baby toys. I don't get it. He has all these cool toys to play with and he wants Wyatt's rattle or whatever. The other day he was trying to get into the exersaucer and I told him not to do it three or four times, warning him that he would get stuck. Well, guess what....he did it anyway and he did NOT like being stuck. I took my time helping him out and took a couple pictures while I was at it. He hasn't tried to get in again, though!

Wyatt, on the other hand, loves the exersaucer!

Last Birthday Post

This is the last birthday post...I promise.

We had Ethan's friends over today for a little birthday party. Ethan has had a lot of birthday this year and a lot of present opening! Lexie, Bright, and Jack all came over to enjoy some cupcakes and playtime. Ethan had such a good time and the kids were all so cute! Ethan wouldn't touch his cupcake until we put candles in it for him to blow out. Maybe we celebrated a little too much this year! HA!

Happy 2nd Birthday Ethan!

Ethan turned two on Friday. I can't believe I have a 2 year old! I am way behind posting because our internet wasn't working at our house for about 5 days. We had a really good weekend. My parents were able to come up to visit, so the boys had tons of fun playing with them. Ethan got to go out to Burger King (the only place with an indoor play area) for lunch on his birthday and loved running around and going down the slide. Daddy was working all day, but he got someone to cover him so that he could be here for awhile in the evening. Ethan enjoyed more cupcakes and, of course, more presents! Our house is being over run by toys! Here is a slideshow of some of the pictures we took over the weekend.

Well Child Visits

Today we went to see the doctor for Wyatt's 6 month and Ethan's 2 year well child visits. Both boys are doing so great.

Wyatt is 17 lbs 11 0z and 25.25 in long. He is rolling and rotating all around. He can sit up for short periods of time and his first tooth has broken through. We think he isn't too far from crawling; he sure is trying to go places. He's a champ at eating, is starting to giggle, and is just super laid-back. We love our little Wy Wy!

Ethan is such a big boy! He's 31.2 lbs and 2 ft 11 in tall. He talks so much. He has really, really improved over the last month or so. He's drinking out of a real cup at meal times (without too many spills!) and I am officially calling him potty trained! He hasn't had an accident for over a week--day or night! We are so proud of him!!

Almost 2

Grammy and Grandpa came to visit for the weekend. We got Christmas yesterday and Ethan got a little early birthday party today. He was one happy boy!
