So, I don't know what is going on in the
Schrant house, but evidently we are in the business of killing plants.

This first guy has continually gotten weaker and weaker since this summer. It's a
hosta, in case you were wondering. It is now down to three sad little leaves.

This second plant is not actually ours. Our friends, Josh and Wendy, are on an out-rotation and left this poor thing in our care....and look what happened! Sorry guys! I don't know what to do. I am really not neglecting it, I promise.

And here we are at the last example of my very black thumb. I have had this plant for about three years and have done really well with it, until now. All of it's leaves are turning brown and falling off. There is going to be nothing left of it in a couple of weeks at the rate it is deteriorating! Are there any gardeners out there?? I could use some help before my plants die off completely!

This is the very reason I don't have any plants or living things in my home other than children. Everything dies. Especially when someone tells you it's impossible to kill----those seem to go first. I feel for you!
...oh, Laci. Perhaps you need to repot with fresh soil and a plastic plant.
I'm not an expert by any means but the typical problems are over- watering or under-watering.
The weather has cooled off so the plants do not need as much water. You should go and get some Miracle-Gro and use it on the plants. Sometimes in humid enviroments, the plants get mold. I've had that problem several times. There are mold killers for plants if they are infected. Sorry this is all I got for you. Good luck.
This looks similar to the one surviving plant I have in my house!
