Ethan is 4!

Today is Ethan's 4th birthday!  He loved it all this year--the parties, friends, family, cards, presents, balloons, treats--all things birthday!  It was so fun to see his excitement.  We had lots of little celebrations starting on Friday with Grammy and Grampa, then a party with friends on Saturday, a celebration during Sunday School, a party at school today, and then celebrating tonight with us at home and at MeMa and PaPa's!  What a lucky boy!  We love you so much Ethan!  Happy Birthday!

Christmas and More

Just now getting around to posting our pics from Christmas morning.
The boys had a great time both here and at MeMa and PaPa's.

Ethan's favorite gift:  his very own clock :-)

Wyatt's favorite gift:  Train set and trains

Ethan was pretty excited about his "motorcycle" too!
This is for both boys, but Wyatt was a little too timid to get on yet.

So nice to have family in town

Nothing to do with Christmas, but these boys looked too handsome in their vests last Sunday, so I had to take a picture.

And finally, here's the Wyatt...
We are trying to potty train him.  He's a little stubborn, but getting better.  He is pretty cute in those big boy undies, though!

Christmas in Kansas

We went to Kansas to visit Grammy and Grampa and had a wonderful time with everyone.
It sure was fun to see these cousins play and have fun together!

Grammy and Grampa loving on the boys...

Ethan and Wyatt sure got spoiled!

Now that we are home, these cute boys are ready for Christmas  at home and at MeMa and PaPa's tomorrow!  Merry Christmas!

Officially Old

The husband is back home from the hospital and feeling much better.  People keep giving him the business about how he is falling apart.  And seriously, I think it's true.  In October he was totally healthy.  Now, between the gout issue and the pneumonia, look at all the prescriptions he has amassed in the past two months.  Awesome.  Welcome to middle-aged life, Ben!  Being 30 has been kind of hard on him.  Looks like someone needs a pill box for Christmas!
