Family Time

Ben had a week of vacation, so we got to head back to Kansas to visit some family.  While we were on our way home we found out that Danny and Vicki had their baby, so the boys have a new cousin!  We came back through KC, so that we could meet her.  Sarah is such a cutie and so sweet!  We had a great time seeing everyone.

tumbling

Ethan just finished a tumbling class at the YMCA. He had six classes and did all sorts of basic activities like jumping, somersaults, hanging on the bar, etc. He loved it. Here's a few pictures.

Ben's turn

Another birthday around here. Ben turns 30 today! Glad I'm not alone in my 30s any more!
We are finally done with the "holiday season" around here. Thanksgiving, Christmas, Ethan's Birthday, my Birthday, Valentine's Day, and Ben's birthday. It's never ending fun around here. Thank goodness Wyatt's birthday isn't until June. We need a break from all the celebrating :)

Here are the Valentine's that we made for Ethan's friends at school

His attempt at writing his name on the back. He hasn't been interested at all and this was the first time he really tried to write letters. I was so proud of him!

Ice Cream

Today was cold and Ben was on call, so the boys and I were feeling cooped up. I told Ethan that we would go out for a treat if he did a good job eating his dinner (i.e. eat all his vegetables). He did and so we got around to go out for ice cream. As we were getting ready, Ethan says something to me about going to Lightning McQueen. It took me a few seconds to realize he meant Dairy Queen! Ha!
