More Vacation
"We're ready for more vacation, Mom!"
mental note...don't expect your 2 year old to hold up your 9 month old for very long--cute picture, but you don't see the tears after Ethan decided to let Wyatt fall to the ground immediately after I snapped this photo. oops....lesson learned!
We love to swing! Our hotel had a little park that we visited several times. These boys could swing all day long, if I let them. I have to force Ethan to get out, run around, and play on the slides (don't get me wrong--he likes the slides too, but he doesn't want to get out of the swings....ever!)
We also did some swimming. Wyatt's a little fish in the water. He loves it. Ethan, on the other hand, isn't so sure. He is doing much better, but he's got a ways to go.
I got in a little, or maybe a lot of retail therapy since the big outlet mall is down there!
Erick, Lauren, and Lexie were also there to play with, so we had lots to do. Ben was busy at the conference for most of the days, but we got to spend quite a bit of family time together. We had a great week! Poor Ethan was sad when we got home and there was no more hotel fun to be had. I think his favorite part of the whole week was pushing the elevator buttons.

Gone Fishin'
Ben and Ethan went fishing tonight and Ethan got to reel several fish in. His favorite part was throwing the fish back in the pond.

Vacation
Ben has a week of vacation and two conferences to attend. The boys and I get to come and enjoy the hotel, pool, and shopping while Ben is busy at the conference. We just got back from Kansas City and in a couple of days will be heading down to the Lake of the Ozarks. We stayed in KC for an extra day to see family and friends. Plus, we got to go to the Deanna Rose Farmstead today. It was awesome!! Anyone with kids should definitely go. Ethan had so much fun and it was free!

Funny
Brothers...
I was in the kitchen while the boys were playing in the front room the other day when I heard something that made me laugh. Wyatt started crying, so I came over to see what had happened. I see Ethan leaning over him and yelling in his face, "Sorry Brother, Sorry Brother!" I don't know what he did, but he sure wanted Wyatt to be quiet about it!
