Weekend Without Daddy

Ben went back home this weekend to be in a wedding. Ethan and I decided to stay here and my parents came up to keep us company! We had a great time with Grandma and Grandpa, but missed Daddy very much!

Ever since Ethan and Lexie started really moving around, I spend my time chasing these two little cuties all over our apartment...I took a little video of them today. I think this is the first time that I have really seen them "playing" together. Ethan would scoot a little and turn around to make sure Lexie was coming along and he started laughing at her, so I grabbed the camera and caught the moment.

Ethan bumps his head twice during this video, but don't worry...he's just fine :-)

Also, we noticed Ethan is starting to maybe actually crawl. Up until today, he's only done his little scoot where he pulls himself along with his arms and pushes off with one foot. He actually got up on his knees today and tried to crawl!

Exhausted!

We went to Kansas City for the weekend to go to Ben's cousin's wedding reception. It was on Friday, but it started right at Ethan's normal bedtime. We stayed for about an hour and Ethan was done! Ethan slept a little in the car on the way to our friend's house (where we were staying), but woke up while we were taking him in; he had a hard time settling himself in the unfamiliar place. Poor kid was so exhausted for the rest of the weekend! He did really well, he was just kind of glazed over most of the time. We did get to see lots of family and friends, so that was really nice. This picture was taken before the reception started. We got there early and decided we might as well get a picture of our cute boy!

I took this picture this morning. You can just barely see that he has teeth! He has 4 of them now!

Teeth

Ethan's been making up for lost time this week. He's getting both of his middle bottom teeth and then one on top. The one on top is off to the side, so I am hoping he gets a few more top ones, so he doesn't look silly! I really have no idea what order they are supposed to come in. He's been a little more fussy than usual and had trouble napping, but overall he's done pretty well with it all.
I tried to get a picture of his teeth, but he was not cooperating with me at all. So, here's a good one from earlier this week.

Here's a fun photo of Ethan at bathtime tonight. It's a little fuzzy, but still cute.

I also noticed that maybe I should get Ethan some new pajamas soon. His big toe poked through these!
